History of Our Custom Designed Pole
Initially we sourced genuine Bamboo from Bali , but with bamboo drying and cracking quite quickly, combined with the difficulty in transporting it, we started on a mission to source and manufacture something that would give us the elegance of a gentle curve at the top, with the durability of fibreglass and convenience for transporting. Today we can proudly say we have achieved this, with the best and only custom designed pole especially manufactured for these beautiful flags, not a piece of plastic pipe that bends in the heat or a cheap fishing rod that has been passed off as a Bali flag pole. These poles are available in 2 sizes and 2 finishes, a 5 metre pole that can also be used for 3-4or 5 metre flags, as well as our largest 6 metre, designed for 7 metre flags, as a 7 metre flag will normally have approx 5.5 metres on the pole and a 1 metre tail to swing in the breeze. Both poles fold down to approx 1 metre and extend in 1 metre increments. Supplied complete with their own re usable cloth storage bag. Available in either Polished Silver, ideal for weddings or imitation Bamboo look, same poles just different finishes.We also have optional aluminium pole ground spikes available for these custom poles, simply hammer into the ground and slide your pole over them, keeping them secure and assuring you of a safe mount, reducing the risk of breakages, combined with ease of application.
If you cannot do either of these, you can purchase market umbrella stands from large hardware stores. The poles weigh approx 0.85 kilo each.

For mounting, hammer our optional aluminium spike approx 40cms into the ground leaving the same above ground; you then simply remove the rubber cap on the base of the pole and slide it over the stake. We have also dug plastic plumbing pipe 30cms into the ground, then slipped the pole into it.
